 Post subject: 19th century occupation

In the 1861 census, a relative living in Battersea London is described as a "money taker S B Com". In the previous census he is a labourer, so it`s not likely to be a skilled job. Would he perhaps be a fee collector for some company or individual?

Maybe something like a cashier or a chap taking cash at the turnstiles at an event ?
