David Pearce (and if that name sounds familiar, that's because he used to write all the history stuff for the Evening Gazette) a thoroughly decent bloke (and one who, I hope, I've managed to talk into joining us at Wyre Archaeology) turned up today and presented me with this photograph of Bourne Hall actually in the process of being demolished. I'm not sure, but I think he took it himself on the occasion:
