It's hard to believe that the hospital where I had my tonsils out as a kid has been pulled down. Great memories. Er...perhaps not. Even more annoying though, I didn't get any photographs of it before it went, so I've had to scour the net and 'borrow' a couple. Unfortunately I've forgotten the address of the website where I found these, but if the copyright owners are reading this then, well, you know where to contact me...and cheers in advance.
And here's one of the inside:
And one final one of some stairs:
There used to be a Saxon watch tower under this place at one time many centuries ago, you know...but that's probably a subject for somewhere else.

Cheers Joolz,
You didn't happen to spot a small teddy bear with one eye when you were taking those photographs, did you? I still haven't found Bertie since that tonsil experience.

Joolz,
Blackpool meets Baghdad. It's a pity it wasn't those tower blocks at Queen's Park in the background that they pulled down really. Preferably with all the tennants still in 'em.
