Having recently been bitten by the "Family Tree" bug, I have encountered a problem concerning the location of the house of one set of grandparents (long dead.) The address is given as "Hambleton Terrace" Thornton le Fylde. It certainly existed in 1932 but despite being a Fylde inhabitant all of my life, I am unaware as to where this location was in Thornton. Has anyone any idea where this terrace stood. Any suggestion would be gratefully received. Thanks.

I have looked in directories and they show it to be on Butts Road at Burn Naze.

Looking on Google Street View, the terrace still has a stone plaque with its name.

Hi, until 3years ago i lived on Butts road at no. 7 and named my house Hambleton cottage after spotting the Name stone. Alot of history in those little streets, very busy area over last hundred years due to ICI.

I would like to thank fyldecoaster and topgrafter for their kind assistance. Amazingly, with regard to topgrafter`s post, my grandparents actually lived at number 7 in 1932 and that was the property I sought to find!
