There's Wilfred Owen's old address...or rather addresses...on Bold Street and North Albert Street in Fleetwood. He ran the rifle range where his troops were trained, now occupied by the golf course at Rossall Point, before getting shipped off to the front, writing a few good poems, and getting killed. There's probably a few relics around the golf course even now.
Certainly the North Euston Hotel has a War Department stone on it somewhere from WW1, when it was used as Officers' Quarters.
