This morning's forecast courtesy of the Met Office: Heavy rain -- 45 m.p.h. winds. I don't know about anybody else, but I generally excavate at weekends for the fun of it. Unfortunately, there's nothing about today's forecast that remotely suggests 'fun to be had'. (Pneumonia, perhaps, but not fun.)

Hopefully we'll have better luck next week.
