Are there any prospects for a 2017 big dig in Lancaster?. I saw a few short films of it on you tube and am keen to know if they intend to come back, Raksha Dave of Time Team is, as we believe dying to revisit asap. I hope this is not the end due to cash problems as it would deprive the city of its prize asset, the whole reason Lancaster became a city in my opinion and understanding the cavalry garrison which occupied it, though we have an idea from the tombstone. Someone should start a fund raiser charity shop in Lancaster devoted to the Roman archaeology!. Ever yours in hopeful expectation!.
