I am trying to research the history of this specific area and the buildings present, from doing a little digging I found that the National archives of Scotland have maps of the area dating back to 1849. Unlike trying to source anything through the UK government, these are free to access and explore!

My specific interest is in Park House Farm on the junction of Park Lane and Burned house lane, I have been led to believe that parts of this farm and outbuildings may date back some way. The existing buildings are present on the maps as far back as I have accessed (1849) and I would be interested in any further information that anyone may have.
